If there is one thing about video games like Destiny or Tom Clancy’s The Division, where in-game currency is concerned, players will always try to find exploits and ways to get what they want faster. Then the developers and/or publishers are left scrambling to quickly close out that exploit or create a hotfix for it. It seems Gamespot has discovered one such exploit for The Division that exploits a way to earn quick credits and Phoenix Credits. The process is detailed in a video at the above link.

The report also detailed how to get the quick credit by going through a specific mission and boss. Here’s the step-by-step process:

1. Pick Madison Field Hospital Mission on Hard

2. Make your way to the boss

3. Run past the enemies or kill them

4. Kill Hutch

5. Go towards the door and kill his clone

6. Collect phoenix credits, loot, and die.

7. Rinse and repeat.

So now that this is out in the public sphere, players who are interested might want to get it while it’s hot. Chances are, the developers at Ubisoft are already going to create a patch to fix this exploit, which is common among the industry.
