Check Out Newly Released Screenshots for The Surge!

Deck 13 and Focus Home Interactive have revealed the latest screenshots for the upcoming action RPG The Surge. You can check out the latest images in the gallery below. Click on the thumbnails to see the full-size images. The new screens feature some of the enemy types in the game.

In the near future, players will take the role of CREO factory employee Warren in The Surge. Using a highly advanced exoskeleton designed to assist heavy labor, Warren goes on a journey for a company dedicated to repairing the atmosphere and addressing climate control. However, the mission soon becomes dangerous, and Warren has to upgrade his exoskeleton to survive.

The enemies Warren faces use the same exo-suit technology as him, but have tools built for combat. Some of these enemies are towering in height and heavily armed to fight Warren. The gameplay combat features a limb targeting system to attack and cut off specific limbs to farm materials to craft upgrades for the exo-suit.

The Surge will be previewed at E3 2016 this year in Los Angeles, California. The developers will be providing a presentation for the game as well. The game is due out later in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
