In two weeks, the anniversary of Pokemon GO will arrive. This phenomenon took the world by storm when it released, and it still to this day has tens of millions of monthly players, and developer is so grateful for that, they’re throwing some special events for players.
For example, if you’re near the Chicago, Illinois area, you can head to Grant Park on July 22nd to partake in some fun activities with fellow Pokemon GO trainers. Other events will be held all over the world as well, including Europe and Japan.
As for in-game Pokemon go content, June 13th-20th will be the Solstice Event, where Fire and Ice type Pokemon encounter rates will be increased, and extra XP for Curveball captures will be given, as well as for, Nice Throws, Great Throws, Excellent Throws, etc. Furthermore, Lucky Eggs will be 50 percent off.
So if you’re looking to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Pokemon GO, your chance is coming soon.
Yes! Yeah!
Everything that is related to the Pokémon franchise causes me anxiety (positively speaking). Pokémon GO always finds a way to please the real fans. This is so nice!
Well that is good to see. No matter where a game goes or what others think I would say it is good for those who like it to have these sorts of things.
