Bug Causing Overwatch Players To Lose Progress and Money!
A curious bug has appeared in Overwatch. It appears that something is causing players to both lose the in-game currency they have acquired through microtransactions, and are losing items as well.
This bug apparently came to Blizzard’s attention a few days ago, and they stated “Players that did lose progress, that is what’s still being looked into by the Developers, and as of right now there’s no new update to offer sadly.”
Making the bug more curious is that it appears to be exclusive to the PS4, as a representative told IGN:
“I can confirm that we are having multiple reports regarding this issue and our Development Team and Quality Assurance Department are already working on a solution with Sony which will be available as soon as possible. Sadly, as of right now, there’s no actual ETA on when it will be resolved.”
