It seems vinyl is definitely making a comeback, even in the realm of video game soundtracks. If you’ve ever wanted to own the Fallout 4 soundtrack on vinyl, now is your chance. Bethesda Softworks is now taking pre-orders on the Fallout 4 official game soundtrack at the Bethesda Store right now.
The Fallout 4: Deluxe Vinyl OST is only available exclusively at the Bethesda Store. The record features the full 65 track game score from composer Inon Zur. There’s over 3.5 hours of Fallout music on six LPs in three full color gatefold jackets. The records are all housed in a full color heavy board-stock slipcover.
Bethesda offering this type of deal and collection for Fallout fans is pretty exciting. It’s also fun to see a game publisher getting on board with the nostalgic comeback that vinyl records seem to be making as of late. It will be interesting to see if any other publishers follow suit and attempt to release some deluxe vinyl soundtracks later on.
According to Bethesda, the collection is a limited edition of only 3,000 for the six LP box set. The Fallout 4: Deluxe Vinyl OST is expected to ship on July 1. You can also check out some pictures of the vinyl soundtrack collection that were posted on Twitter and Inon Zur commenting on the release below. There’s also a video of Inon Zur playing the Fallout 4 theme.
