During the Pokemon Nintendo Direct yesterday, a surprise was to be had in the form of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. These are dubbed as “alternative” stories set in the Alola region, and will feature Pokemon that weren’t in the original Sun and Moon games.
This disproves the Pokemon Stars theory/rumor that has been circulating the internet for months, as well as the fact that Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are coming to the 3DS, and not the Nintendo Switch. The other reason that this is curious is that it follows the path somewhat of Pokemon Black and White 2, where there were two followups to the original games and not just one.
For eagle-eyed players who did the end game content, you’ll notice that Solgaleo and Lunala are apparently merged with the other legendary Pokemon of the region: Necrozma. Another takeaway from Black & White 2 where the legendary Pokemon merged with another.
The games are set to arrive on November 17th.
OMG! That sounds amazing! I need this… Now! 😮
How am I going to do to control my anxiety now? Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon? Wow… Just wow! 😮
That looks pretty awesome. They keep surprising me and keeping my attention just when I think that the time is up for it, but I guess that is a good sign.
