Watch the New Overwatch Cinematic Teaser Here!
Blizzard Entertainment is set to launch it’s highly anticipated multiplayer shooter, Overwatch, this month. However, this will be proceeded by an open beta session starting this week. In anticipation of the Overwatch Open Beta, Blizzard just drooped a new cinematic teaser trailer today. You can check out the preview clip in the player below.
In the new video, the heroic Winston is trying to send out the call to former Overwatch agents to take back their cause up once again to save humanity. The video does provide another nice look at the lore of the game, which is important since the game doesn’t really have a story mode or a formal single-player campaign. The nice sense of grandeur and heroism is palpable. Gamers in turn get to be the heroes again for Overwatch.
It looks like the open beta will be a nice appetizer for the game. After Battleborn had a strong open beta, it will be interesting to see how Overwatch’s will fair with Blizzard fans and gamers alike. Overwatch’s open beta session will run from May 5-9, and it will be available as a free download. Overwatch then finally launches on May 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
