$0 on the game?

When I first started, I never spent any money from levels 1-30. After 1-2 years, I got a RP card as a gift and bought a bunch of skins. I guess you can say that I got hooked onto them and bought well over $100 in skins!

 

I spent ~$50 and I don't feel really bad about it. I won a lot of skins through codes and I always buy skins when they're on sale, that way I get the most out of my money.

 

If every player who currently plays would invest only ~50$ in their "lifetime" League of Legends wouldn't have a problem staying afloat, but I agree with you! I could easily spend $1k on the game and buy everything but that wouldn't be the smartest idea!

 

In total I think I spent around 30 euros on the game. I play the game for three years so I think I can say I didn't spent too much I only buy skins if I'm really good at a champion and if I like the champion. And often I wait until the skin I want is on sale. That way I managed to snag away a lot of skins for little money

 

I told myself I wouldn't buy silly cosmetics but as time went on I was drawn in by the skins, and at one point I spent some bucks on xp boosts for my smurf.

 

I have played League of Legends since its early beta, out of that time I have only spent about $30-40 on the game and I have been playing for a really long time. There aren't many skins I want, and I only buy a skin for a champion I main unless it was something from a mystery gift.

 

I think that's what they're trying to do, since people buy skins you want to have some too. It's a pretty smart marketing scheme.

I have all the traditional skins and all the skins that can be redeemed via promotional codes, I guess that lowered my desire to spend money on skins.

 

I have a smurf account which has $0 spent. There are 3 skins and champs you can get for free, tristana, alistar, and garen. They do however give a free skin behavior at the end of year.

 

Hahah yeah I have all of the free skins, and a few beta ones like UFO Corki and King Rammus. I spent the better part of my league career playing the game at 100ping, with no desire to fund riot while playing on trash servers. My boycott for spending money on the game pretty much stands just because I don't care for the direction in some cases, and I am a cheapskate and have no major desire for cosmetic items in a game that isn't a MMORPG lol.

 

yes! Im proud that I didnt bought any RP in the game, Coz when I started playing (season 2) there's a lot of skin rewards in every week like the lolday skin challenge back in season 2 if im right where you can get the skin of a specific champion by winning in streak, but unfortunately riot games doesn't have a lot of this events nowadays, anyway just sharing. but still im proud that it cost me nothing to have skins, and for me skins doesn't define your true skills in the game.

 

I spend 50$ on League every time I get paid every two weeks. So I've been working for 2 years now. That really adds up. I was gonna do the math but decided it was way too much money to calculate. It's very apparent that I have no life, I own all the ultimate skins and most of the next tier skins.

 

I've never spent a single dollar on this game. I mean, yeah, the skins are cool and all but I prefer spending the money on other things. Not a problem for me.

 

I've never spent money on this game, as I don;t find it necessary. I'm perfectly content with my champions and skins, and don't plan on spending money in the future.

 

Yeah. I never payed any type of money on League Of Legends. I don't have the money and I think it will damage the gaming experience.

 

Nobody has to ever pay 1 cent to enjoy League to its fullest. It is a 100% free to play game and the only advantage you get if you actually buy something is that you look cooler in a different skin. That's the reason why a lot of people play LoL and quite ironically why it makes so much cash every year.

 

I've been playing League for about 4 years and I've never spent money on the game except one time I bought 975 RP for two champions on sale, Shyvana and Renekton. It's easy when you don't really care about skins and all you need is a hefty collection. Compared to many other games, League of Legends is really F2P.

That being said, I've got a skin or two which have been gifted to me by friends and I gladly rock them on each occasion haha.

 

I main Garen and one of my friends gave me a random skin crate to open and I got an awesome vintage skin to play with. I never got much into League however, so now my account is idled for the foreseeable future :/.
