A recent decline in players?

    I have noticed on my server that there are fewer players recently. The activity in my kins (I am in two) has dropped drastically over the last couple of months. I am wondering if others have noticed a similar decline. Even in the new zones, players are few and far between.

    I am wondering if this is the result of a lock of end game material of interest to the community. Is it the time of year? Is it just my server or is it all in my head?

    I've noticed this too. I think that it could be the time of year as well as the fact that the game is dying off. Needs new content. They need to add some really amazing feature, like WoW's "Garrison". They also need to add battlegrounds in my opinion...

    I haven't noticed it, but probably because I'm part of the problem of players not playing. the game just started to feel too "last-gen" for me. There wasn't enough feature and I found myself getting bored too easily as oppose to other mmos like WoW who really stay on top of keeping the game updated and fresh.

    I think a lot of people are getting bored with it, honestly. If they would update more and come up with sweet ideas continuously there wouldnt be such a drop in players.

    I love LOTRO. It is one of the best games I've ever played, but I played it for two years. I had the money and it was fun for me, but I burned out on it. I still play now and then using the f2p stuff once in awhile, but not like I used to do. I still really like where they've gone with the game. I think the developers do a good job.
