The title says it all. Of course, this is to be expected after the further damage Ghosts did to the franchise. It's a little disheartening considering how sold of a game Advanced Warfare actually is, even compared to past CoD games that were beloved by fans. Activision keeps trying to spin the sales numbers, but the fact of the matter is that AW sales will come far below Ghosts sales figures.

Im not surprised at all that Advaned Warfare sales are down. Like you mentioned Ghosts was not received all that well but Advanced Warfare is also not all that well liked by a good amount of people either. The exo suit completely changes the game and makes matches very unpredictable.

I actually expected it. It's just not as good as any of the other CoDs. They really changed the game too much. Like, you can't compare CoD4 or MW2 to Advanced Warfare.

Given that Ghosts had a lot of hype behind it, being the first next-gen entry of the series, and the fact that it failed so hard, it means that Advanced Warfare had very little to no hype from the regular, casual gamer, so it's no surprise that it fell down in sales. The poor connectivity and the lack of dedicated servers doesn't help the game much either.

Most of the concepts used in the previous Call of Duty games are kind of overused by now. There was a lot of hype around their games only to be disappointed at how similar it was from the previous games.

This is actually pretty surprising to me, considering how Advanced Warfare was better received than Ghosts. I think some people might have lost faith in CoD and moved on to the other FPS games that were released around the same time, such as Evolve, Destiny and Titanfall.
