Am I the only one that likes this game?

This game, so far, has an engaging combat system and a good story line. I am finding it difficult to dislike anything about it so far. Can some one please spell it out for me? There has to be something off about it for so many people not to like it.

I quite like it although I haven't played it extensively. Its probably just a case of that nobody really knows about the game. This could be through poor marketing or just because of the sheer competition nowadays with MMORPGs.

I've played it a bit and have enjoyed it the times I did play it. I remember when I first heard of it through and e-mail. It interested me enough to check it out, so I did. It's a fun game for sure, not on the level of most of the bigger titles out there, but it's a nice little bit of fun at times.

And yeah I seem to notice the trend that there's many people that don't know about it so much. I suppose that's life. But yeah, it's a good game.

I personally love this game, the graphics are amazing and the storyline is suspenseful. However, I think what draws people away from TERA is the repetitious game play. Every quest/task is about: killing a certain amount of monsters, finding someone, or collecting things in the environment. It's the same thing day in and day out.

I can't seem to find a good ending game for many mmo which essentially draws me away from it. Another thing too is the repetitive quest turns it into some snooze fest.

I gave Tera a try, the graphics were mindblowing and the combat system was FUN (you actually have to aim! distances matter!) but I hated having to run back and forth to do the same types of quest - as GetFresh mentioned, it's all the same thing. I also just couldn't get into the storyline, and I think it's because of the sheer amount of text you're supposed to read. They don't make it easy on the eyes.

I loved the art direction and I have a thing for wings, but the only thing that stopped me from continuing was the same thing that locked me into The Craft for too long. My friends (that I still liked) weren't on Aion. I can't do solo play anymore unless the system is so drastically different that I can enjoy a new world. While I could just earn new friends--and did to an extent--I still had a home that was familiar with people that I wanted to continue with.

I kinda want to give it another try now. Those black wings were nice...though NCSoft in all its "wisdom" took away my collector's edition wings.

Of course no. You are not the only one that likes this game. The game wouldn't have survived that long if you were the only one playing lol.

I feel the game's storyline is just too short. I mean, the maximum level cap is level 60, and after that, you just grind for endgame weapons. Hopefully more updates bring more interesting stuff, and quite possibly the level cap will be raised. It's definitely more fun to play with friends :)

So far I love the game, but that just maybe I just started playing maybe in the future I may get tired of it when the game becomes more repetitive, but as right now I am enjoying myself!

I do like the game, the storyline is great (especially when you talk to the NPC and it switches camera view) the graphics are amazing, and the character creation is great. However there was one thing that really put me off, and that is the camera movement. I absolutely hate camera movement being automatic with the mouse that way, and it's enough to ruin a game for me. I still go on TERA now and then, but I will never be able to be obsessed with it because of that feature.

I tried this game for a bit but I really couldn't get into it. The combat seemed pretty nice and the graphics were top notch, but everything just seemed so.... generic. A lot of games kind of give you a reason to care about the world with interesting lore and whatnot but I didn't get that at all with Tera. It seemed like I was there to level up and kill stuff, and not to inhabit a world.

I love it, mostly for the combat. It's really engrossing/engaging and makes me actually look forward to fighting, unlike many, many other games in the genre.

No, I like this game too, because of the fact that it is different combat wise from other MMOs, other than WoW's kill 10 murlocs, then come back to me structure of quests.

This game is actually pretty good and kinda different then what I am used to. The action is something I really enjoy. Then when you have a great storyline it makes for a rather enjoyable game.

I took a crack at this game awhile back and even bought a subscription. The combat is definitely very compelling but the rest of the game is pretty meh. The story is almost non existent unless you read walls of text which I think in this day and age is lazy story telling. Also the community in game felt lacking. PvP seemed to consist mostly of high level characters ganking low levels for hours, which granted happens in all MMOs but it seemed much worse in TERA.

It's pretty fun honestly, It's probably just that it doesn't get as much popularity as most MMOS do. Maybe because they don't advert on every website like shitty WoW.

I really lie the game and the combat system. What takes the cake however is the storyline. I really like all the unexpected twist and turns in it. The AI could be better
