Any chance of a World of Tanks subforum?

Just poking to see who'd be interested in one, as I didn't see it listed :p I've recently gotten back into the game and it's tons of fun, and not nearly as much grinding as I expected! If anyone wants to add me, my IGN is 'Rooftops'.

Share with me all your glorious battle tales!

I play WoT EU, but I haven't logged in for about a month. I think a new WoT forum would probably start up that interest again. I'm relatively new with the game, with only a Tier 6 tank as my highest, but still a lot of learning to do.

Awww, NA here. I'm stuck at Tier 4s, my friend has his nice KV-1S but man it's a struggle.

I enjoy it. I've been playing on and off since beta with friends, and we all enjoy it. It's a bunch of grinding, but you can play multiple battles while you're waiting for one to finish :p It's fun in the early tiers when you're just driving around and blapping things, but the later game requires some actual skill.

I played for a bit at the start but eventually it got really grindy so I quit. A subforum would be nice in case I come back though.

Here's one more hand from me for a sub-forum. I believe this new generation of military-styled MMO's is quite exciting, and even though I started it with World of Tanks, I've moved onto stuff like War Thunder, since I am an aircraft enthusiast. I recommend it, check it out.

I have seen the ads for World of Tanks on Discovery Channel. It looks like a nice game but I guess it's something where you can really benefit if your lag is low.

If you are really interested you might want to try contacting and admit directly to add the sub forum. I myself have never played the game, but I do agree that it's a good game and seems like fun. What's more it's educational.

War Thunder is awesome, I much prefer it over World of Warplanes (WoWp has really messy controls IMO).

Considering I have about 30ms ping, I'm not too sure how the lag compensation works out in the end but they have a NA-E/W as well as several EU/Asia servers so I'm sure you could find one that's got decent ping. You can also have the reticule display what the server is registering, and that helps adjust for compensation. I'd totally recommend giving it a shot though if you're interested, it's tons of fun, especially with friends!

Well I would hope that admins are active enough that they would notice the thread, but it was more of a post to gauge interest in the community and see if anyone else would be interested. There's no need to bother the admins into creating the subforum if nobody will bother using it. Also, I like how you mention that the game is education. I never really thought about it before, but it really is. My friends and I will be playing and one will go look up some stuff on the wiki about their tank and then be like "oh, did you know the KV blah blah interesting fact". You're learning even if you don't plan to :p

Yeah exactly. While you are playing it you are bound to get interested in something and when you check it on top of learning that you will probably learn some additional information as well.
Btw I definitely think that a sub forum will be popular because the game is one of the most popular current games. Good indicator on which game how popular is to check twitch top streaming games. World of Tanks is always one of the top :)
