Any good third person shooter MMORPGs out there?

    I was wondering if there were any games that combined shooters with MMOs, I think it would be interesting to see how those would look like.

    There are a bunch of MMO Shooters, but not many (any?) of them are also RPGs. Many of them contain RPG Elements, but very few of them have a persistent shared in game world that you inhabit and explore.
    An example of something like that would be GTAV online or Day Z.

    There's Borderlands, it's exactly what you want, but it's a first-person shooter.
    The game gives you different characters, with unique skills, and you pick one at the start, there's also lots of items (weapons).
    You should give it a try. :)
