    I use bukkit and would like recommendations on some fun plugins. I already use WorldEdit and Dynmap, what else is out there that enhances but doesn't completely change the way I can play minecraft?

    I used to be a server owner, I highly recommend the McMMO plugin but you have to cap the levels as some things might be too powerful, the plugin also adds more things to your donation kits (e.g 250 levels for any skill)

    I had used McMMO myself. there are many good tutorials out there to guide you through the process. Anyways, good luck with your server.

    I love MCMMO, I wish more people would use it on their servers. I am just shocked that they don't as it adds a lot to Minecraft and gives a reason to play in the first place.

    What exactly does it do? Can you earn "skillpoints" for doing stuff like mining or crafting? And how would it be different than the current xp system?

    Yeah, I'm a server admin of 4 or so, with one modded private for friends, one modded public for the community, one unmodded vanilla server private, and one unmodded vanilla server for the public, which is my most popular. I only ask for donations on the two most popular (modded and unmodded publics), and I barely get enough to keep them up. The vanilla server only has MCMMO and a few other helpful plugins, but it's still really vanilla.

    I used to have a server with a buddy of mine and we would just install the industrial craft (2?) mod by itself and it was a lot of fun. It's not too much to ruin vanilla, but it adds that little something if you get bored later.

    What's a server...

    I'm joking, obviously. My server IP is in my signature.

    My server is an economy based towny server, which means that when you collect a load of useless items, you can either sell them and collect better items that you need, or you can purchase other things like towns with towny. We also have a swear filter, that instead of blocking your swear words, charges you $10 for each swear word used.

    If this sounds good, the server is always welcome to having new people join :) My username in the game is OrangeSn0w, so if you need anything you can just contact me while I'm online.

    I used to be a server moderator on a factions server, we used 90% of WorldEdit to create the spawn and PvPArena. Being an admin is good, but you need to work a lot!
