Anybody else just like turn on creative mode and build stuff?

I really prefer the game in creative mode. I love building big castles or HUGE mansions and what not. It's far more interesting to me then the regular old survival thing.

Yes, it's the reason why I played Minecraft in the first place. I like to design and build my own structures and worlds otherwise not possible in reality.

I am quiet opposite. I get bored in creative mode. In survival, there is something to work towards for me. Even a simple project like a village can take a long time. Its about the journey for me.

Totally. Most of the time I just log in and start collecting stuff and then, when my storage is full, I start building. It starts from underground caves and ends at mansions, as you said. It's just great.

I find that survival mode gets boring fairly quickly. Starting a new world helps at first but eventually it falls into the same cycle of punch wood, build shelter, mine, and acquire food source. Once you have all the basics in survival mode the only thing left to do is build bigger and better homes - so why not skip the middle man and just jump right to that in creative?

I can't be spoiled by Creative Mode, because once I have that ability, I tend to lose interest in the game. I like a bit of a challenge and the feeling that I can be killed by zombies or become weak from hunger. Creative is fine to plan out some stuff to be used in Survival.

I admit that one of the biggest mistakes I ever made with Minecraft was starting my own server. Having all that power and no challenge really wrecked the game for me for a while. Even playing in Survival on purpose seemed hollow. You probably have the right idea.

I really like creative mode. I like building whole worlds full of cities and villages. What's fun on top of that is leaving books and signs, etc that create a bit of a background story for the world I am building.

Yes, once I felt like I got a good feel for the game's mechanics through survival mode I went into creative mode and just started building things. Nothing I've built has been particularly impressive, but I find it to be a fun and relaxing way to play the game.

Often. I love Creative Mode. It lets you plan out structures you can't build yourself, and can really create some far-reaching projects. One of the only large-scale things I've ever built, a tower that rose from ground to sky with ten separate floors for everything from gardening to enchanting, was built using creative mode.

I like both modes, depending on what mood I'm in. I enjoy trying to build areas from other games in creative mode.

Creative mode for me is mainly a testing world. If i need to see how something works, or how it looks, ill hop into creative so i can make sure it looks or works perfectly before attempting in survival. Not very often have i jumped into creative out of choice to build a huge building or anything. It may be tedious, but i like gathering all the supplies.

I like to go into creative to try out new possible buildings i would like to build. If they are successful than i move onto survival to create them.

I also do that and the sense of achievement upon completing it is great. I feel that I'm a part of the world and responsible for it. It's like I'm the architect.

I don't really like putting on creative. I like putting it onto peaceful mode and playing normally. Just without the things trying to kill you and stop from collecting materials.

This is pretty much what i do ALL the time! Its so fun.. i've even started to build things i see in real life, like my house/street. London itself with the touristy type buildings! but i do occasionally mix it up and play online.

I never thought to build my street. I think it's interesting to think about. I may try and do it soon. I don't know why I put it off so long.

I like the challenge of farming the materials to build huge, beautiful houses in survival. I do use creative mode to try new house styles, build super massive compounds and streets with lots of houses, and nether castles. I still want to finish my castle project, but the urge to use world edit to do the heavy lifting is so high.

I usually use creative mode to prototype ideas. I find it useful when testing out ideas for a server, it comes in handy because of the unlimited blocks. on a server , supplies are limited so testing out ideas before wasting block can be extremely useful.
