So there's going to be a special edition of ESO called 'The Imperial Edition'

    Check out the details here

For once I think they've got the pricing and the content right for this one. You get some lovely physical items, plus some extremely tasty looking in-game items. I mean who doesn't want to have a mud crab as a pet? lol

Most usefully, you can play as an Imperial - which at the same time puts you outside the already announced factions, and yet also confers the ability to join any of them. Very useful!

I think I'm going to start saving my pennies now... but what do you guys think?

For me, absolutely not. I am already debating about whether or not to actually spend money on the game on full release. As it is right now, and with the prices being thrown about, even that seems like a big stretch for where the game looks to be. This particular edition looks to have some pretty decent content in it, but I am not going to be throwing more than the bare minimum at the game when it comes out.

I'm just a poor student, I don't think I'd be able to afford that, especially when it first comes out. Though it does sound pretty cool what you get with it- I want that Tamriel map!

I have been waiting for this game for a very, very long time so I am going all out and getting the imperial edition. The ability to join any faction and also get a few bonus items is well worth the price premium over the regular game if you ask me.
