I'd like to make recordings of what I'm doing with Minecraft Pocket edition. I have a screen recorder on my phone which really video records what is happening on screen but recently it hasn't been functioning properly because of the security update of Samsung. Anyone know the best way how to record Minecraft on mobile devices?

Most people on youtube use a video out cable, which shows the device screen on a TV or PC screen, and then they record it from the PC screen.

If you have a mini HDMI input on your phone, then you can display it on a larger display and then record that, much like SecretlyTaco said. There aren't a ton of workarounds, but you definitely don't want to just record your phone screen with a camera or something. It looks terrible.

What they said, use a mini hdmi out and record that. It slows down the game if you use recording software on the phone..

Most phones don't have the HDMI out that you need, so you'll need to get an adapter. On iOS they're kinda expensive, but for android devices you'll probably get one for a bit less.

Mini HDMI usually works if you have an adapter. If you own a newer-generation Apple device, you can usually record using programs through AirPlay.

That's assuming you have another airplay compatible device, like an apple TV (although I'm sure there's some windows software for this, there was one for AirPrint so anything is possible)
