There is an awesome fan made pokemon game called Pokemon Zeta and Pokemon Omicron. The games are not rom hacks, but a game made from RPG maker that can only be played on your PC. The game consists of a new region and new teams that join up will all the old evil doers. If you have not tried this game out yet, you should.
When I was first reading through the post, I though it would be another ROM hack, but I'm glad it's not. Not yet, but I will definitely try this out, thanks!

Seems interesting! I am in the mood for some classic Pokemon gameplay! The new X and Y are awesome, but sometimes there's something that you can't beat when it comes to the classic (I blame the nostalgia goggles ) From a quick search I am amazed that these are actually fan games, cause their quality are top-notched! Can't wait to play them! Thanks for the heads up!
This reminds me of the egg locke challenge some youtubers are going through. I'd actually give it a try, just because starting a team from scratch, and playing through the game again is a pleasant challenge.
Nope haven't...but there are many fanmade pokemon out there. Pokemon Shiny Gold, Dark so many... but they;re for emulators though
Awesome, I'll check them out. So far I've only played fan made hacks like Shiny Gold and dark Platinum. I usually play those on my phone to get a little bit of nostalgia from it.
Nice. How is the game play compared to the normal games? Would you say they are worth getting and playing? Also, what version of Pokemon are in these games?
The fan made Pokemon games are actually really fun to play as they are usually based off one game, then improved the storyline and what we didn't like about the game. Although a odd few are less enticing to play, but I have to say most of these ROM's out there has been made really well. Hopefully these 2 are also one of the well made ones when I download it later tonight to play.
Pokemon ROMs are quite fun, but beware of viruses or malware. Use an antivirus to scan it and then use an anti-malware too. Anyways, make sure you have an emulator to play it on!
I like the sound of this game. I would like the chance of playing from a different person's perspective.Do you think it can work on a Mac? Does the have a good plot?
Well, This is a pleasant surprise to say the least. I had no idea such thing was out in the first place. Being on PC makes it a little easier for me as my PC is my go to for gaming. Is the story like the originals? Anything that seems quirky?
I haven't tried Pokemon Zeta, but I used to play a lot of custom Pokemon games. I had played every Pokemon game by Nintendo and it was a great experience and challenge to try other games made by fans.
I haven't heard about it until just now...but..I'm more of a fan of the actual games than the fan games or roms that people make for them. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure their quite fun, but first I want to play all the official games.
Are these completed? I do enjoy fan games, but most of the time, they aren't completed and never are. I get so frustrated when I can't finish the story!
