Are TERA servers populated?

    I'm looking for a second MMORPG to play in my free time because in WoW I'm with over 19000 achievement points all my charectars are currently maxed out on everything and beside raiding 3 nights per week there are like 1-1.5k more achievements points which are relatively easy to get after that I won't have anything else to do.
    I'm thinking of playing TERA whenever I don't have raid, till the new expansion comes out(or Wildstar), but I'm wondering if there are actually people playing. I'm mostly interested in PvE, so are people active in PvE? Are the developers bringing new content often or they have given up on the game? What about the servers - any recommendations?

    So it seems noone have info, but it doesn't matter I watched some streams today and I liked what I saw. Downloading the game at the moment, but damn it will take a while. I'm downloading with 2MB/s ++ and it's saying 4h +++.
    Btw I went over the restrictions for free accounts and everything seemed fine, but I might have overlooked, so my question is is there something from the restrictions for free users which is really bad?

    I haven't played Tera in a few months, but back then they were not that bad the chat was active I didn't see a whole lot of other players running around, but I am still on the low level though.

    Well already started playing it. I just googled for "populated realm" and picked the first I saw. From what I see in the chat it's rather populated, so there shouldn't be any problems finding pvp or pve guild at max level. Will see once I get there :D

    It's more populated around this time because it's the holidays, but a little after new years it should start going back down again or at least that's what I think.

    Well I was mostly looking at the chat from max level people and I think that they should be active even after the holidays, but I'll find out eventually I guess :p

    Oh I was thinking you were add in how many people are playing the game not just chat, but as far as chat goes it probably won't change to much.

    Well I care how much are playing, but by the chat you can usually estimate if a server is populated or not.
    If you see constant spam from different people looking for groups or trying to sell things it usually means it's populated realm.
    I play WoW and over the years I've gotten a skill where all I need is 10 seconds on a realm to see if it's decently populated or not.

    On Jagged Coast I see plenty of people running around, but not so many that we're always fighting over mobs. I consider this fairly optimal.

    I don't think you have to worry about the game getting updated or not. There's usually an event every other month, plus contests. They just recently introduced a new class for the Elins only. I've heard talk that they're bumping up the level cap, whether or not this is true, I'm not sure.
