Are there any Old School Runescape players on here?

I was an enormous Runescape fan back in the early days, and I'm interested in OSRS to revisit my old pasttime. How is it? I know that the game is, true to its source material, F2P, but how much are you missing out on in F2P vs. P2P?

It's exactly how it use to be, and it's pretty awesome. F2P, you have all the basic skills and the basic cities as you did before. Nothing really has changed at all. In P2P, you gain access to a few more skills and cities as they aren't in F2P. It's the same as the 2007 version of the game. I really thoroughly enjoy it and it still has the same feel as when I played it back then.

I used to play the hell out of Runescape back in the day, but now it's pretty crappy to not have all the features unless you pay. This is something that really irked me from the first day I played Runescape.

I played about 2 hours of Runescape with my cousin, but I never got into the game. At the time, though MMO games were limited, there were still other games better suited for my palate. I think it's great that Runescape has lasted so long, but then again, it has never been marketed as an AAA titled game. If people still find it interesting and spend time on it, more power to them.

I have still played Runescape on and off. It has been popular game and is popular even nowadays. Although nowadays there are plenty of games and not too many people know Runescape anymore.

I played it for a long, long time. It's the most boring game ever now, there's absolutely no new content and gameplay which keeps you coming back unfortunately.

Here! the facelift they made really fucked the game. After many hours of grinding, all is wasted.... all is wasted...
