Are there any self sustaining classes?

Curious because the Enhance Shaman in WoW was by far my favorite class. On that note, is there an OP one like the Paladin? I hope not because I seriously hate being pigeon holed into a class. I soloed the entire game until level 80 in WotLK, didn't do raids until that point really, maybe a couple here and there. I was doing 3-4 man quests by myself, so it made the game really fun for me. Knowing that I built a character that could do that, not sure if by my own theory crafting or because the class was OP.

    • Judging from the stuff we've seen so far it's hard to say if one class is more self sustaining than another. Frankly the reason that some classes in WoW could solo and others couldn't is because some classes simply had no heals at all(like the warriors, hunters, and rogues), while other classes could heal as much as they could DPS(Paladins, SPriests, Enh/Ele Shamans/Druids). It made the class imbalance almost impossible. Some classes had to rely on others for part of their gaming experience, while other classes could do things entirely on their own.
I'm actually hoping for one of two things in WildStar.
Either 1) NO class has the ability to solo their entire way through the game, or
      2) EVERY class has the ability.
I would rather option 2, that every class be as viable as the others, but if it is a choice between only some classes and no classes, I choose no classes. That way it helps keep FotM and OP classes to a minimum
