Are You Excited for Fallout 4 Mods?

    A friend of mine on tumblr recently let me know that Fallout 4 will have the ability to have mods played on the console versions. I won't try to drag the Xbox One vs PS4 debate over here but I'm really pumped for these mods. Not only will we have an addition to the Fallout series that we've come to know and love but we'll also be able to customize the game a little bit. I'm not really sure how easy the mod installation will be but I figure it won't be too terrible. What are your thoughts? Are you as excited as I am?

    I'm not going to complain about more mods for any given title, so that's good news to me.

    I have never done any experiments with mods in past games but with all the gameplay in the game currently I don't think I will need for a long time! I am excited to get into the fallout modding world however.

    Being able to mod Fallout 4 is going to be pretty cool and hopefully developers will not let us down. I've been using mods for GTA V and the others for as long as I knew about them, so this is a big deal for me.

    Ooooh! Mods on a console?! I can't wait! I've always wanted to try out mods but I've always been on consoles. This is awesome news!

    Mods will be cool, not that it really affects me because I'm a PC gamer so basically all games can be modded for me but I'd never be against console versions getting mods. I just wonder how they are going to curate these mods. Are they going to have a marketplace? it can't be just any mods because those could break the entire game which they wouldn't allow.

    I also only game on PC, but I wonder how you guys are going to install these mods. I think it will be kind of like the steam workshop where people can freely download and rate any mods they want easily, I am happy for the console gamers finally being able to also get in on the modding fun!

    I've only ever found that mods can improve a game. I love them so much! It adds to a game in a way that is literally only limited by imagination. Unique quests, crazy weapons, insane enemies. I just think it's really, really neat :D

    Bethesda games LIVE off of their mods. Bethesda has a track record of releasing solid platforms that are made great by the user community building on that platform. Just go look at all of the mods available for any of the Elder Scrolls games and you'll see what I mean!

    I'm just worried that mod developers will downgrade things like overhauls and stuff for both PC and consoles so F4 can run smoothly on X1 and PS4
