    Lots of gameplay videos have come out recently and for me my excitement level for the game has dropped mainly because of small details that have mounted up e.g. hit-markers, large icons, claymores, weapon mods like reflexive IR.

    Edit: Also day one DLC mainly Ranger Mode being used as a pre-order bonus.

    I heard you can turn off all the HUD, etc.
    Haven't seen claymores? I need to see this, but if they're not a homemade or russian versions of the claymore i'd be a lil' annoyed, just another little bad detail to add to the list.
    don't really like the idea of weapon mods like RDS etc, but i'm not that bothered, it's just because whenever I think of Post-Apocalyptic I think of humans living in a world with little to survive other than the clothes on their backs.

    Plenty of minor details i'm a worried about but I still have a little spec of hope.

    Over the years I have to admit that my lust for the game has dropped a little over the years...

    No longer am I at the point of Kidnapping Huw and holding him ransom for a copy of the game... No, now I'd only be willing to break into 4A and steal a copy... :wacko:


    On another note. Do you think we should make a poll for this thread, Darkone?

    They are actually both. They are using a MON-90 case, but are filled with metro-made explosives mixed with nuts and bolts.

    I'd say my excitement is about the same. They haven't made the game perfect, but the combat is much more fluent, stations are more charismatic and developed, and the graphics are just a notch better.

    Metro Last Light is the only game i remember not being afraid it might flop.I'm still sure 4A are going to give us one hell of a game but we all know LL cannot surpass 2033.
    I'd say my excitement is the same too.

    Claymores seem too damn cliche in FPS games at this point. Wouldn't mind seeing them be replaced with home-made bear traps, which trap mutants/humans to give you a chance to shoot them down.

    Just like Aaron, I have slowly but surely sort of forgotten about Metro Last Light and the lust has just slowly decreased and decreased, but upon seeing the recent videos and information, my lust for the game has suddenly exploded in a burst of impatiency. How am I supposed to wait now? :D

    Ah thanks for that Komodo, that's given me a little bit more faith in the game.

    I do agree with pip a little bit though about how claymores seem to be in most shooters lately.

    I wonder what sort of levels we will have with the addition of claymores then? I'm guessing they would be pretty useless unless there's lots of defending/moving through areas where you're surrounded or something along those lines.

    Edit: That poll question makes no sense once you read the answers.
