    Arm up Rangers we have zombie apocalypse to stop

    from miamiherald.com One man was shot to death by Miami police, and another man is fighting for his life after he was attacked and his face allegedly half eaten, by a naked man on the MacArthur Causeway off ramp, police said.

    The bloodshed began about 2 p.m. when a series of gunshots were heard on the ramp, which is along NE 13th Street, just south of The Miami Herald building. Witnesses said a woman saw the two men fighting and flagged down a police officer who was in the area.

    The officer, who has not been identified, approached and saw that the naked man was actually chewing the other man's head, according to witnesses. The officer ordered the naked man to back away, and when he continued the assault, the officer shot him. The attacker continued to eat the man, despite being shot, forcing the officer to continue firing. Witnesses said they heard at least a half dozen shots.

    Miami police were on the scene, which was just south of The Miami Herald building on Biscayne Boulevard. The naked man who was killed lay face down on the pedestrian walkway just below the newspaper's two-story parking garage. Police requested The Herald's video surveillance tapes.

    The other man was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, according to police. Their identities were not released.

    The incident, which came as crowds descended upon South Beach for the annual Urban Beach Week hip-hop festival, snarled traffic on the causeway for several hours.

    It could be possible that this could be a zombie infection starting but the most logical explanation is that depending on where the shots where fired for example in the head and the body would still move (this happened often in world war 1 in the trenches where dead men would still charge because their brain was dead but body was still moving and working) also it is possible the man was insane and did not recognise the pain of the bullets and kept on going. On youtube search 3 ways a zombie apocalypse is scientifically possible it is quite interesting and they make it sound possible that it could happen instead of just saying a random infection did it.

    I have my FG-42 ready for action and not far from my home is a gun shop so i guess it will be my first stop... if we one day wake up surrounded by zombies please know that i really liked this comunity and i was happy to be apart of it...

    I know that we need to take this serously, but i couldnt resist and done top 10 list of people who i want to be eaten by zombies or shooted by me while being them :laugh:

    what would be your loadout?

    in terms of what I have available at home I can use the daggers, a long broomhandle with knife attached, both airsoft pistols, although it would have to be quite close range but would still work, couple of garden spades and a pitchfork.

    what about you guys?

    and seriously now, I just think we'll have to be vigilant, just in case....

    I have airsoft guns to and there is some tournaments in my country well more like fighting in abondoned buildings or capture flag and so on. but in case of zombies apocalypsion i dont think airsoft would do the job. it is the same as trowing at zombie lame petard and hoping for critical kill.

    P.S. Can i add my kitchen knife colection :DD

    you could be our marksman. They all are great weapons, but you will need my backup with FG-42 (i should uplound a vid to youtube in shooting range , but i need to edit some parts and rendering takes time) ;)

    perhaps a close shot to the eye would do the trick? and of course you can add your kitchen knifes, the bigger and sharper the better!

    Nothing, I guess. I was trained in use and basic maintenance on firearms, but I don't own any and neither does my family or anyone I know. I don't own any melee weapons either. I don't own any regular or power tools, but I worked with them a lot in the past.

    On the bright side I'm a cripple, so I'll make a pretty crappy zombie.

    Uh,the only thing that i could use is a knife to cut the bread ,lol
    Yup,neither do i know anybody who owns a gun...my country has severe Laws about Gun owning

    Only things I got are a couple of .22cal's and 1 lee-enfield round

    Edit: I also have 1 .38 or .44 police issue round for a revolver
