    Here's an initial press statement to which I've gotta say God knows how they got the information. But whilst some info around ages and some of the scenes in the incident is incorrect this is the story:

    I can't say much to the Metro community as I'm still giving Police video statements, but to let you know that my family and I are okay and well.

    I did take a bit of beating around the head as I was pistol whipped and I'm terribly sore all over; my teeth will need some reconstruction too. There was glass all over the floor at the time and as I was bare footed - my feet needed stitches and glue so I can barely walk atm.

    But the guy who we caught is still in intensive care, hopefully if there is Justice in this World he'll get a minimum 10 years with the intent to Kill.

    I'll be back online when I can as when we can get some normality back into our lives, but I'm just sorting the Windows out and trying to get the house back into shape whilst looking after family. I'll be attending more Police interviews and Court probably next week.

    Nice job man. There are a lot of people who wouldn't have had the guts to do what you and your brother did. I hope you know that what you did is something that is truly inspiring for alot of people, and I hope that second robber knows that he's going to get his ass whupped if we ever find him.
