    It's about time that I start a Metro Series. I've been wanting to do this for a long, long time. I started today, and I have a lot of ideas, but I want more. These ideas are also for any other artists, you can do them too!
    Here's a list of what I've got including what i've done today.

    VDNKh with Ostankino Tv Tower in back, missiles launching at dark ones

    Stranded battle tank, in Siberia. Just a simple depiction, no life forms present. Maybe a little base, smoke from fire? Book and 2033 game reference the tank

    Maybe hint at the tank's demise? Tank's prolly gonna be a T-90

    Ostankino TV Tower up close just cause it's very iconic

    Anomaly in metro tunnel. Just simple, maybe have a life form but don't distract from focus. There for atmosphere if anything.

    Kremlin. Make sure star on top is of interest, Ie glowing or something to focus on

    Re-do VDNKh, maybe not, but do a pic that depicts the Ticket booth that lady was trapped inside of when attacks happened. Book references this.

    Alright, I can get behind that. I'll see if I can paint something fancy one of these days.

    There are a few things off on your art though. The monument is burned, bent and crooked from the blastwave in the game and the Ostankino tower is missing it's spire. Canonically everything above the restaurant section was blown off.

    A good starting point for inspiration would be the rumours and the ghost stories of the games and the books. Why invent something from scratch when there are short stories readily available in the source material?

    Then there is always Rule 34, of course. Other than the obvious Artyom/Anna ship, the Dark Ones and their mind rape abilities seem like a prime candidate for that. If even bloodsuckers from Stalker got some action, I don't see how this can't work. Artyom's callsign is Rabbit for a reason, you know? (NSFW)

    It's a standard loophole, looks like a loli, is 700 years old. Dark Ones have a hive mind, they were created before the war so he/she/it is of legal age technically.

    View of the Swamp, as you're standing in the building at the top of the ladder from Venice. You know the spot.

    Also would be kinda funny to have a pic of Artyom tight-roping his way across the Ostankino Tower's pole arms out wide as he tries to balance, staring down at the long drop to the bottom.

    Interested to see how this develops.

    Also, I like how Laz asks for ideas for art, and Komo's like, "Well, have you thought about Rule 34?":laugh:

    I'll work on fixing both the tower and that moment. I noticed that later, it looked to clean to be from the metro universe.


    A view of the swamp would be cool.
    That idea with Artyom tight-roping would be pretty great, i'll add it to my list

    Perhaps a guard post at the VDNKh station, kind of like it was described in the metro 2033 book, or just a random campfire lit in an abandoned tunnel or station. An abandoned rail car would be cool too.

    I'm working on more, I don't have a lot of time but ideally I will complete at least 75% of these ideas.
    And that's kinda funny, strange too.

    That would be cool. A fire out at the 300th meter mark would be pretty cool. (I think it was the 300th meter mark?) Anyway I'll add those both to me list of awesome!

    I should reread the book and replay the games as I'm doing this so I remember the atmosphere better.

    That third one is brilliant. The previous two aren't bad either, but this one just gets the atmosphere absolutely spot on... cold, lonely, forsaken, yet serene.
