Playing an RPG game is such a rich and wonderful experience. It's like you're exploring a whole new and different world every time you play. You get to go to far away places and talk to different NPCs. And of course, it all culminates into one great big ending. What are the best endings that you have seen in an RPG game?
For me, Fallout: New Vegas and Planescape: Torment have the best endings I've ever seen. The storyline is simply amazing in those games and it's not a surprise that the endings are also amazing.
Man, I never like endings if the game's good. I mean, I loved the endings of Persona 3 and Persona 4, for example, but when the game IS really good I just have this feeling of "man, it's over... I just want more of this amazing game "
The Last Story. It was a fantastic experience all the way through and honestly it moved me. It was an amazing and emotion ending and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts a lot the 1st time I beat it I had so many emotions I was confused, sad, and wanted more all at the same time!
I think the fact that there are so many endings for Chrono Trigger that it makes you want to play it again and again in order to see all the endings is really great. It adds a ton of replay value and each ending is rewarding to get because it is a full ending. It's also really satisfying because you get to see all the possibilities and with a game like Chrono Trigger there are a lot.
Well, I think some of it is the fact that Post-Merger Square Enix games kinda got weird. Everything Pre-Merger has a different feel to it. I think that's some the reason but I'm not really sure.
Vagrant Story has the ending I like the most. As the whole game, it was weird and confusing. The truth is hidden behind doubtful facts and everyone has its own interpretation of what really happened. Amazing story-telling.
