Best food source?

Pork Chops are plentiful and fill a lot.

 

I prefer steak because as you say cows drop a lot of meat, it's easy to cook and it fills me up. The only other thing I ever eat is break, or apples if I find them, but I don't go out searching for them.

 

Steak fills you up the most. I find it easier to find as well, as cows are slow and always roaming around large grazing areas. Pork is also fulfilling, as pigs are also slow. However, when it comes to underground hideouts, I love chickens as they just drop eggs everywhere, enough to produce a lot more chickens.

 

I know this won't really apply to most of the people in this forum but the best form of food is from a replicator. You put in one of what you want copies of and a bunch of diamond, I think, and then it makes every open spot in your inventory completely full with the original material.

 

I usually hunt down piggies, fairly filling and easy to kill.

 

I'd go with steak, too. It's just so much easier to find than most other consumable resources. I sometimes create food sources on farm land, but I'm not usually stationary, so this doesn't apply often.

 

Steak. It does fill you up a decent amount and is fairly easy to find as many cows drop them. Other food sources are usually harder to find and sometimes fill up less hearts.

 

It really depends. I enjoy steak more because it recovers more hunger bars and it's not that hard to get hold of.
I love roasted chicken though, I always make a compact farm, 5x2x5. It's so easy to get feather, eggs and roasted chicken with that compact farm. If you are interested search for xisumavoid's compact chicken farm on Youtube, you should find it easily!

 

I reckon it depends if you have a farm or not.
Chickens are good in farms, but without one, steaks are the best.

 

I never liked using livestock as a source of food, since having too many of them at once usually causes FPS drops. I always liked eating the baked potato, since it was the one farm item that gave the most hunger back.

 

Steak or Pork chop. Whatever I see livestock near me I kill them for food.

 

I've found pork chops are often a lot better than steak...when I eat pork it stays with me much longer. Which is really funny since the reverse is true in the real world ha ha.

Generally I eat baked potato though because I cook it for XP so I always end up with a lot of it .

 

I think that pigs are the best food source, they're pretty easy to keep track of, are easier to kill than cows and taste great

 

Everyone's saying steak or pork, but I usually go with chicken. You can easily farm them with a fire aspect sword and they'll lay eggs and spawn more so you don't have to breed as much.
