Come one, come all, and share the best creations that you've made with others, working together as a group for the greater good! Yesyes, I used a similar intro as I did in my other thread. Sue me, I got a little lazy.

I'm interested to see what you guys have managed with others helping you out. I know people have made entire worlds such as Westeros before, but I'm interested in seeing what members of this site have managed. Screenshots of course are preferable, if you can manage it!

I don't really have a picture or anything but some friends and I decided to make a neat little town. We would each make our own house and then start to expand. So, I would be in charge of transport and another one would be in charge of making a store. It was pretty awesome and we got a warp added to the server leading to our town so we could get more visitors to perhaps settle.

I think group creations would involve making a huge project, such as a house or some redstone contraption. I mean, those you can do on your own, but having other people to help you out makes it much more easy.

We had a pretty amazing city going on a server me and my friends were playing on. I think there were 8 of us at some point, just playing vanilla minecraft.

It was amazing seeing it grow from a few houses carved in to the side of a hill into a massive enclosure with a farm, houses, storage, a castle, a cathedral and even a big temple devoted to the ender dragon egg!

I think I still have the server file somewhere, I'll see if I can get it up again and get some pics of the place.

I don't really like group projects all that much since at times there may be some disagreements, I'd usually suggest we all do our individual projects and when we're done it'd simply turn into this sort of collaboration project, imagine a collage sort of thing; you add multiple pictures together and in the end, each of those pictures complement one another and it looks great!

Never really thought of doing that but it sounds pretty cool. Do you have any screencaps of what you are describing?

Well of course it would make it easier but I think just making a standard structure with your friends would be a ton of fun, especially if it's on survival mode.

Sadly, no. That was a very long time ago when me and three or four of my friends were actually playing together in my server, all of us made individual houses relatively close to each other and after a while, they sort of started blending in making it look like some sort of small village.
I'm going to mention that it looked relatively like an NPC Village; have you noticed how every single building in an NPC Village simply blends in with the rest, but if you begin destroying every single house and maybe leave one or two relatively far away from each other, it just looks extremely plain? I don't know, maybe it's just me.
