    Read a thread in MLL media where the Bastard gun came in fourth place in best gun in PC gaming which gave the idea for this thread. What are your favorite/best guns in gaming in general?

    I think most of my picks will be from the Fallout games from this generation.
    Tesla cannon (Fallout 3)
    Fat Man (Fallout 3)
    Hunting Rifle (Fallout 3)
    Volt Driver (Metro 2033)
    M6D Pistol (Halo: CE)
    Needle Rifle (Halo: Reach)
    Double-action Revolver (Red Dead Redemption)

    Hmm, thats a tough one to pin point in my case since I love many guns at different times. But to name a few I suppose I'd say the following:

    Kar98 (RO2)
    MP412 Rex (BFBC2)
    Gol sniper magnum (BFBC2)
    SV98 (BF3)
    G3A3 (BF3)
    AN-94 (BF3) <---probably my favorite in BF
    Arisaka rifles (any game)

    AKS-74su is great for running around small creaks and corners and be a stealthy rambo. (Insurgency)
    The Volt Driver was absolutely genius. (Metro2033)
    My favorite weapon HKG36 is perfect for the DayZ and Wasteland mods; You can switch between Iron Sights and a zooming scope with a single button on your keyboard which makes the rifle perfect for both distance-firefights and close up firefights. It's very powerful with a low bulletdrop. (ArmA2).
    The Portalgun is absolutely marvellous. (Portal 1 & 2)
    The Gravity Gun is great. (HL2 series)

    This is kind of hard to decide, there's so many but if I had to pick one i'd choose the Mesmetron from Fallout 3, it was brilliant. You would either stun your target allowing you to fit slave collars to them, send them into a frenzy attacking friend or foe alike, or it'd make their heads explode. Wonderous.

    I dunno if it technically counts as a gun though, if not I choose the Mysterious magnum from Fallout: New Vegas or the AN94 from BF3 or AK74M from BF3.
