To competitively play WOW you need a good mouse and a gaming keyboard. I had 5 or 6 different ones before finding the one I have today - Naza Molten - that offers a good grip, adjustable weight and 12 side buttons. What is your favorite mouse for WOW and why?

The Noza Molten is for sure the best mouse for WOW. I love the functionality of it. Also it doesn't hurt that it looks awesome.

I hated the naga. It was just way to small for my hands, plus I dont really need that many buttons. Using something like ESDF configuration gives you plenty of keybinds without needing a ton on the mouse. The cord on my naga also frayed off crazy fast which I thought was pretty poor quality on Razers side.

My personal mouse is a Logitech G602. It feels nice in my hand and it doesnt have a ton of buttons on the side.

A friend has the G602, and I liked the hand grip and the button configuration, but I personally need the extra buttons because in a boss fight you have to do 10 things at the same time and close keyboard buttons are not enough.

    Definitely the Razer Naga.
It's so easy to use, and the macros are so damn useful for playing MMOs. I actually have 2 mouses: the Naga and the other one for regular browsing because I find the macros rather annoying for everyday use.

Brand doesn't really matter, but obviously Razer would be a favourite of many who play WoW due to it sponsoring a ton of WoW gamers. Due to needing a ton of spells/macros really any mouse with side buttons works, whenever you want 2 additional buttons or 12 is just personal preference.

I've been with the good old Razer Naga since forever, and it's never failed me, it's simple, it's effective and the macros, keys and speed hasn't failed me. Is it me or with every new design they try to make them as bulky and impressive looking as possible, as well as adding a lot of unnesecary stuff, all at the expense of functionality?

I belive that you don't need a MMO mouse to be able to play competitively. The only thing you need is a good responsive mouse and keyboard, without any overhyped functions. Your keyboard has enoug buttons for you to be able to respond quickly, with the global cooldowns of spells you don't have to be insanely fast about it.

I agree with you, with the keyboard a generic one will do the work. But with the mouse, a razer one will definitely help, because the additional buttons are very useful if not needed.
