    So far the best pre-order deal for the Xbox 360 I've found is $49.99 from Newegg.

    Best deal is from GMG. If you're going to get it from steam cancel it. You get everything PLUS either 10 bucks cash back (from the 50 bucks) or 15 GMG credit.

    Professor Pew suggested that some new promos may be on the way to steam. I was thinking TF2 hats or something, dunno. Would be nice for confirmation on that soon, I've been holding off my preorder.

    Is it possible to order even if you're in US?
    I assume it shouldn't matter considering the payment can be made through WebMoney (USD). Any clarification on this would be great :sad:

    No idea, really.

    But those are slavs, it's not like they are going to tell you that you are violating TOS. Plus the RF/CIS version is region free, so it's all cool.

    I see. It's also quite a double edged sword, since the steam key will be sent out on May 17th release date instead of US release date of May 13th.

    To be honest, I can't wait any longer for Metro to come out so I'll likely end up ordering from eBay (nvidia bundle).

    Certain Key Sellers will send the game in time for the American release date. Then all you need to do is VPN unlock the game, which is a violation of Steam's terms and conditions but everyone does it anyway. :D

    I got a chance to chat with the seller of the link posted by Komodo. He was having hard time speaking English but his message was that the game is "No region free, only RUS". I'm not sure if he's either misinformed about the region free steam code or if its actually true :eek:hwell:

    Would I have to VPN unlock the game on Steam even if I'm residing in US?

    If he is saying only RUS, then it's region locked. It is much less hassle getting a region free version of the game which requires no use of VPN to play the game.

    If the seller who I bought my game from sends me the codes early and if they are indeed Region Free then I'll post the deal. There is no point doing it now until I actually can confirm it by redeeming the code on Steam.

    True, having to turn on VPN everytime to play the game would be a hassle. I just wasn't certain that even steam codes were region locked. I'm now simply considering getting the code bundle from Nvidia.

    Any idea how much the Ranger Mode DLC will cost on the release date? Professor Pew mentioned that it'll likely be available on the release date but I don't think he mentioned how much it'll actually cost for the DLC. It's shame that the Ranger Mode isn't originally included with the game but it's worth it IMO.

    He is buying the game from a russian publisher, that's why it's so cheap. Most games published in Russia come with a region lock.

    For example, a digital version for RF and CIS is 19$ in Steam. It's got all the benefits of the region free version, but it can only be played in RF and CIS.
