What, in your opinion, is the best weekend mode?

This weekend they're doing one for all, but I think I'd have to go with Ultra Rapid Fire (URF) mode as being my favorite. I just really enjoy the insanity of endless mana and fast casts. I do wish that they would make multiple modes available all the time though, especially now that Dominion is dead.

Tbh I was never really a big fan of URF for some reason. It was fun and all, but it never clicked for me. One for All is a blast to play with a que of 5, especially if you pick a random champion. We all went Aurelion Sol, and literally none of us knew how to actually play him. Crazy stuff was happening, mistakes were made, lessons were learned, and fun was had.

I really do wish that nightmare bots made a return though, that was really fun.

I would say I liked the hell mode bots the most as well as all for one. But tbh the weekend modes get repetitive really fast.. I wish they would have other incentives rather than a different mode for the weekend, IP boosts and XP boosts on weekends would be nice for example.

I respect your opinion, but must disagree. :p

To me, League itself is quite repetitive. Multiple modes at least introduces more variance. Giving XP and IP boots doesn't bring any sort of variety to the game itself, thus making the always available modes even more redundant. Personally, I've never had an issue with repeating games (for example, I was a huge fan of Diablo, which if you're familiar, has many repeating levels and just a few random variances in the map for levels). MOBA games are, to me, a bit like chess. There's a familiar feeling and a sense of redundancy, sure, but also a comfort that comes with repeating the same map. The variances of the champions and their abilities, along with the choices of builds offers me enough amusement to last many more years of playtime. :)

Doom Bots are pretty cool, but I'd love a combination of URF and One For All (I think they did this one time). I also hope they bring Snowdown Showdown this year, I miss playing 1v1.

Ultra Rapid Fire was pretty cool as a novelty when you're bored with the regular games or ranked mode. I know I played it when it was new. One For All was quite different for me as it was drastically different from the traditional gaming approach of MMORPGs so that was fun.

I also liked urf because it was just a great new and fresh take on the game that you could play when you're tired of regular modes. I don't know if I'd get tired of it though but so far it's been very fun for me.

Yeah I definitely agree with you, URF is the best mode of all time. The games gets way more fast and chaotic and that makes for some great fun playing!

    It's definitely
a great change of pace from the normal mode. I like playing this mode a lot to break the monotony as sometimes playing the same mode gets a bit tedious.
