$20 to play on xbox one and ps4?
I will wait till they decide to lower the price
or watch it go free to play. I can do with out
micro transactions so F2P is fine with me.

I was really disappointed when i heard about the subscription fee. It's a bit ridiculous if you ask me. You have to pay money for Xbox Live, more money to purchase the game, and even more money just to play the game.

With all of that aside, all of the game play looks really good. The world looks beautiful.

I was really bummed out when I saw that new online Skyrim would have a subscription fee. I'm really hoping that it will either go down or be taken away in general and replaced with just a one time fee instead.

Well, I for one am going to boycott this game until it goes F2P. This is really insane amount for a game.

It's pretty obvious that this business practice won't last for long and like most MMOs which have come out in recent times this will also become F2P pretty soon, if not in a few months.

The MMO market is already a dying one, and making it less appealing to gamers is not gonna help anybody.

Yeah, I cocur. I don't know why they decide to incorporate a subscription fees for a lore-heavy game like this.

Xbox are never going to take away the Live fee unfortunately. It's annoying as they already make a lot of sales from games and consoles. I doubt they would let them drop it just for this game, as it would have too many other publishers complaining.

The Xbox Live fee isn't that big of a deal to begin with. It sucks that you need it to play ESO, but it's $60 a year, if you plan to play ESO for $15 a month, I think you could afford to pay the $60 a year fee. Plus there's still sites that sell XBL Gold 12 months for $40-$50 so it isn't as bad as people are putting it out to be.

ESO will be F2P at some point in the future, they just want to get the money to make sure it gets the updates it needs.

I think the monthly fee of ESO will drop quickly especially for the console gamer's because live and PlayStation Network will not be free and that is a lot of money to chuck up on any game I don't care how good the developers are.

I agree that it sucks about the monthly fee. However, if the game is good enough, I won't mind paying the extra $15 a month. I also think that it will go free-to-play eventually. It seems like that's the direction most games are heading towards nowadays.

I personally hate subscription costs, it is actually one of the reasons I am considering quitting another title. When I have to pay a monthly fee to play a game, I almost feel obligated to play because I'm paying for it. I hate wasting money so if I decided not to play for a while it would feel like I was wasting cash.

I agree with Dan, I feel obligated to play a game if I am paying for it.

I also can see how it may benefit the game and the process of development if there is a subscription. Take a look at PSN verse the 360 network, PSN isn't as stable as the 360 and a lot of that may be because of the cost.
