It seems that there is so much hype about this game as I always see this game being mentioned in MMO news sites. I got curious and did a little research about the game, and based on some gameplay from the Chinese and Korean server, and I have to say that this game looks promising. Will you play this game as well once it has been released in English?

I've had my eyes on this game for months, but it hasn't been localized for America yet and since I live in Europe that's at least 1 more year if not more. The game looks awesome and since it's from NCSoft which as you know have games like Guild Wars 1-2, Wildstar, Lineage 1-2 you can be assured that it will be great.

Definitely. The only problem they might have is since there are games like Wildstar, WoW expansion, and EQ2 coming out this year if they don't time the release date good they might have problems bringing all players that would be "addicted" to those the 3 games I said. I guess their safest bet would be to release it either few months after those 3 games come out and hope that people have gotten bored from those games or if they are really sure of themself they can release it around the same dates to compete. I guess it should be noted that Wildstar is from the same publisher, so they aren't really "competing", but still...

Probably not unless in goes F2P I don't have the extra money plus being busy it would just be not worth it.

Agreed, unless it's F2P I doubt I'll play it even if it's really good. I don't really have the money and time these days to invest in another MMO so paying a subscription fee isn't very wise for me. Maybe if I'm done with the ones I'm playing now I'll consider it if it ever comes in English.

Beside Wildstar I don't think NCSoft will have another subscription-based game. I haven't checked, but I believe that Blade & Soul should be similar to Guild Wars 2 for example - you buy the game and that's it, but I might be wrong.

I don't see the game as a free to play game, to me it seems that this will be one of those pay to play, I don't think it will be like guild wars, after watching several videos by the team developing the game, it seems to me to be too in depth a game for it to actually be free.

You might be right, but it would be strange to release 2 subscription-based games in a row. What's more Wildstar being subscription-based was a real surprise for everyone.

Oh man, the game looks good but I hope they wouldn't go the subscription route. I don't mind purchasing the installer, but paying every month for a game isn't really worth it in my opinion given the price hike in utility bills and other living expenses. Not to mention I might not make the most out of it as I might not play everyday, so subscription is a no go for me.

Well from what I can see it still hasn't been decided yet. I'd really like it if the game has the same model as Guild Wars 2.

Sadly it's the same for most subscription based games, in fact I think that eve online game is about the only game I have ever encountered that is pay to play in which you can actually pay your subscription fee with the in-game currency and if your any good at the game then you can do that pretty quickly, for instance my older brother plays the game and manages to pay his months subscription withing two to three days of playing.

Well another game that will have this same option is Wildstar. You will be able to buy your own subscription or sell to other people and I think it's a good idea for most subscription-based games. In my WoW guild there are 2 guys where 1 gives gold to the other and the other guy pays his subscription in return :)

That is a rather ingenious method of getting to play the game you want without having to pay, I wish I knew someone like that haha.

Yeah back in the days I actually had quite a few friends who were doing the same thing. It's not because they couldn't afford paying, but they had plenty of gold and at the same time others didn't have the time to farm, so it was a fair trade.
Wildstar as I said will have a system where you can buy prepaid time(1 month and maybe more) and then you can sell it to other players for platinum I believe was the highest currency. It would be nice if Blizzard adopts this type of system as well :p

Yeah this is blizzard we are talking about, they seem to purposefully go out of their way to make things inconvenient for their members lol.

Well I think they will wait to see if this system has success with Wildstar and then they will decide whether to incorporate it or not.

More than likely going to be the case, however if I was blizzard I wouldn't leave it too long otherwise it will seem like just a copy of instead of something that they are leading.

No matter what they do it will be a copy, after all it's already being used :p

You know what that's a fair enough point hehe, but then again I suppose every game from now on will be a copy of something or other, regardless of how "new it will be".
