    Okay metro last light has been freaking me out so much...as if waiting for the ferry being attacked by nosalgises wassent scary enough, i am crossing the swamps. This HUGE ugly bastard of a grasshopper thing appears and i ran like hell, took the ferry, ran like hell to the church again AND NOW IT IS THERE and i need to kill it? But how? all the rangers are pouring lead into it and i just ran out of 5.45 ammo!

    How do i kill this ugly bastard!!!!

    If you listen to Venice citizen chatter, you'll find out some people tried to make protective vests from the Shrimp armor and failed because it becomes brittle when dry.

    Guess why you were getting so many incendiary grenades on this level.

    my god talking about a DIFFUCLT boss battle.Eventually i used majnu running around in circles screaming tactic and throwing every possible incendiary grenade i had and finnaly cooked the bastard!

    Man this game is A+ :D

    lol the screaming is a must. Also if you think that giant shrimp was hard you better be prepared for much worse :D

    I found waiting for the sniper in the church to shoot it was the best time to unload. Every minute or so she will hit it, at which point it will scream and open its arms up. At that point just unload shotgun shells into it then throw an incendiary grenade. After a few of these cycles it will be done for.

    Special weapons are the key for this boss.

    Use the claymores and fire grenades to mess him up, that and blast him with the most powerful gun you have. I always keep a shotgun for the mutant encounters.

    *shooting him in the mouth I think works*
    Two people can be herd talking about it in one of the early missions, I forget where. I might be wrong tho.

    the shrimp/grasshoper in the marsh was easy compared to what will come later. if you finished the game you'll know what I'm talking about. good luck ranger!

    Best part was I did this my first run and I was hoping I wouldn't die. I forgot about the grenades.

    A good way I found is when shrimpy charges at you, strafe to the side dodging him and blast him in the side/gut. other than that, yeha running around tossing incendiaries and screaming like a girl works.

    that video was awesome.
    funny how most enemies didnt detect him and he cleverly used the throwing knifes. I usually go for the silenced revolver.
