I feel as if nobody is really excited for the release, it may be because of the new consoles and what not or maybe it's because nobody really wants it remastered. I on the other hand can't wait to get it, I've already preordered and now I must bide my time.

I played the original games, but now I don't have the latest consoles FFX might be worth it, but X2 was not that great in my opinion.

I have to agree with you that X2 just wasn't as good as it could be. When I was younger I was really excited for it to be coming out and I was just let down.

Yea I was also excited for the game I bought it the 1st day it came out I was hoping that we would find out what actually happened to Tidus, but it just made me scratch my head that was the last game I ever bought new because I wanted to take the game back and get my money back, but it was too late.

I think it's great that they're releasing a remastered version of these two games, especially Final Fantasy X. I have to agree that I think the timing of the release isn't great though, since unfortunately it's kind of being snowed under with the release of the PS4 and the Xbox One. I think the hype would be a lot bigger if they could have gotten it out of the door a little sooner, like last summer.

I do think it's a shame they chose to redo the soundtrack for the remastered version. I thought the soundtrack for the original was great and it's going to be a little weird replaying it with different music, even though they probably won't be that different. I'm just so used to hearing the original versions of the songs.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to recruiting an awesome blitzball team all over again!

I really enjoyed the games when they first came out but I don't have much interest in buying them again. I'm not really a big fan of HD remakes because most of them are games that I've already played. I think there should be a discount for people who already bought the game the first time.

I agree it's just away for them to make some more money unless they add something more then just enhanced graphics it's not worth paying $50-60 for an old game.
