Can anyone give me a quick rundown on the new mage items?

    I've tried reading about the items but I'm still sort of confused and am trying to understand when I would use these items? From everything I've seen Athene's looks like it's pretty awful now and mostly everyone just goes morello regardless of needing Grievous Wounds or not.

    What's with the new hextech items, are any of them actually good?

    When would you choose the Hextech GLP-800 instead of RoA, isn't RoA pretty much better all around especially in the late game?

    I haven't seen a single person build the Hextech GLP-800 in any of my games so far. I see the protobelt a lot more for people needing some HP and AP. I think generally that RoA is good for HP and AP on champions that can get time to scale, Protobelt is good for champs wanting similar stats and on champs that can abuse the active (Annie), and then Hextech GLP-800 just seems to be outclassed by RoA currently. I've seen streams of people try it out with Lux and Morgana to hit an easier snare but that's about it.
