Can't start multiplayer?

    I just finished my first playthrough on the solo campaign, and wanted to take a turn at multiplayer, it sounds amazing. No matter which multiplayer tab or window or whatever a click on, it just makes a noise at me and does nothing. All I can do is look at my character, but I can't seem to start any kind of multiplayer match whatsoever. Am I missing something deceptively simple here? I feel like a doofus, but it just will not work.

    I can only get multiplayer to work if I try solo. All other modes gives me a message "The service needed to complete this operation appears to be offline. Please try again later." I have no idea what the issue could be.

    Thanks. Yeah I can't even get the solo multiplayer to work. Anyone have any ideas> Thanks
