Lets all share some champion specific tips that can help everyone out with certain champions!

What are some champion specific tips that you have with your mains that can make the difference between an okay and a good player with that champion.
I'll start with an Akali tip: When you use your Q you can wait for the cooldown to almost be up again and then proc the second part of it then immediately follow it up with another Q and auto to stack 2 Qs on them for a lot of burst.

For shaco in the jungle (most people might know this):

1 - place 1st Jack-in-the-box where blue buff monster spawns, then continue to do so until he does spawn. This allows you to get blue buff really quickly, without the need for a pull from other players. This gives other lanes a chance to get some more minion kills.

2 - don't bother getting flash as a jungler, your Q covers the need for it. Get ignite instead, this makes your ganks so much more effective and you are really likely to get a few kills off this smite. This will allow you to snowball quickly and hopefully secure a relativly quick win (shaco loses effectiveness late game)

When I'm playing Talon or even Wukong, when attacking, or even for farming, I always wait for the auto attack and then press Q because it strikes right after the auto attack, and I can put out more damage. It's a pretty well known "tip". :p

I agree. Shaco is one of my favourites when playing Jungling, but he's pretty weak in late game. Anyway, as "tip", if it's late game and you're playing with shaco, hide in the bushes and send you ulti first to atack. This will save your team's tank from some major atacks, maybe even ultimates. Obviously, it can't tank well, but if used well, your ulti will help the team more than you can do individually. Also, for Shaco, I don't use Smite, Jack in the box is very good for farming. I prefer to use Ignite and Exhaust.

Here's a tip for Jayce that was common knowledge but took me a while to figure out (so stupid of me)
When you're in range mode and you want to throw down a Q+E combo make sure to first use your Q and then put your barrier up in front of it as quickly as you can.
I used to do it the opposite way and I gave my enemies way too much time to react.

Yes! The way you were doing it, it was really easy for your opponents to know what you were up too and could easily dodge it. I also learned it after a couple games, but it's definitely much more effective.

Some tips off the top of my head:
Nasus can easily solo dragon at level 6 with his ult. Take advantage of the free gold, a lot of times people won't expect you to try for dragon this early.

For Volibear jungle ganks, don't open with Q. Get behind your enemy and E them and start attacking. Wait until they get out of your range with a flash or some other move, and THEN Q. Voli has one of the best ganking kits in the game if you use it correctly. Keep this in mind for any character with a gap closer type move. Generally you want to save your gap closer for when they try to get away.

With Caitlyn, if you E backward, and immediately Q, your Q will travel as far as it would as if you were still in the spot you E'd from. A good way to do some long range harrass.
