How many of you actually mess with your character skin? I never bothered and picked the default ones since I can't see myself anyway. Do you use any skin mod for your character? If you do, which ones are your favorites?

I did, messed with quite a few and settled on a Samus one. I tried making a few but never really got into that.

Of course I use a skin! I wanted to make myself a custom skin, so I downloaded the skin file and started working on it. It was harder than I thought it would be, so I gave up after giving Steve a new haircut :). I then searched the web and found a skin with a hoodie a liked, so I got my character that. After his torso was covered with a warm grey hoodie, It wast time for a nice pair of jeans! I also found a desing I liked online, so I used that, same for the boots.

My skin is just a cat, that I found on Planet Minecraft, but I used to have a few different skins that I messed with. I've never really been good at messing with skins, though :p

I usually download someone else unless there isn't one for that particular character.

I usually go make my skins myself using Photoshop.

It's hard to do, but it's worth it being that I'm the only one with the skin.

I have only ever changed mine once, and I keep it the same all the time.

It's the guy from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Black Knight. I still have all my limbs though. ;)

I recently downloaded an app on my iPhone that lets you edit the Minecraft character skins pretty easily. I've dabbled around with it but I haven't produced anything that's even close to being even called a skin yet. I'm just getting the hang of how things work. Practice makes perfect!

Until I have the skills to actually create a proper skin for myself, I use skins by other people (my current skin is a Batman skin you might've seen already, it's the classic one).

I like to use a regular Minecraft skin, and I also use a Feed The Beast modpack, which has a mod called the Hats mod.

The Hats mod basically spawns hats randomly on mobs. Once you kill the mob, you retrieve the hat and you are able to wear the hat by pressing K (I think!).
