Cherry trees!

Wow, that's really cool! I didn't even notice that the leaves were made out of netherrack! But I would use a different type of wood for the trunk. Birch wood is white, but cherries have brown-greyish bark. Perhaps jungle wood would be better, since it has a similar pattern to cherry, although the colour is a bit off.

 

That actually looks really nice, I'll probably make some of them next time I play.

 

Wow very nice. It is amazing what people can do with Mods. Wish I had the talent, time, and the patience to have a go.

 

That's absolutely beautiful. I've never thought of doing something like that. I think I'm going to have to next time I create a new town, It will give it a slightly different feel, especially if they're along a roadway, it would be so beautiful!

 

That is awesome. Maybe someone will get the idea to actually put a cherry tree in the game so you can get cherry wood and cherries themselves. That would be kind of cool if they put more fruit trees in the game. Not sure why oak trees give you apples, that always kind of confused me.

 

This is pretty creative, actually. Although I don't think they would actually implement netherrack being used for a fruit tree, it's certainly a creative way to emulate a tree which should definitely be in the game! I would definitely put/implement this onto a multiplayer server if I were to make a garden or something of the sort.

Looks awesome. That's pretty clever. I wonder what other kinds of plants and trees people could make with obscure materials and building blocks. I'm sure you could make just about anything with enough ingenuity.

 

Wow, I love this idea! I would never think of putting together a type of wood and some other blocks instead of leaves. I didn't know Netherrack could act as leaves/flowers this nicely. I think I will put together some creative trees in my world.

 

To be completely honest, I'm very surprised nobody else has done this in the future. What with creative mode and a few years now, nobody has tried this creation of using netherrack to be a tree leaf material? It mixes and contrasts with the wood so nicely, too! I'm going to try out a bunch of other combinations now.

 

It makes for an interesting set piece at the very least. Maybe that and use reeds to make a bamboo forest and have a Japanese forest village or something.

 

Holy shit, I love it. I am gonna make it for sure the next time I build my house. I will make two tres in my entrance and all my friends will be amazed.
