I was just reading about this, not sure it has been picked up much or maybe just not a lot of excitement. Anyone going to buy it?

I loved Civilization V but with the expansions and everything I don't know if Civ 6 will have the same amount of content at launch. I guess I'll wait for more DLC/expansions for 6 before buying it, and a cheaper price.

Yes, but not immediately. I would definitely have bought the new Civ as soon as it hit the shelves once, but now it seems half of the content is reserved for DLCs. It's cheaper and more convenient to wait a year and buy them all in a single packet along with the full version, at last in my opinion.
I might change my mind if the new game has excellent welcome, but that also means waiting for other people to voice their opinion :D

Yes, it's a good idea to wait for the cheaper price. I would do the same.

It''s going to be really difficult for me to not preorder just because how much I love the Civ franchise, but I am really trying to wait for reviews, and maybe a price drop. Otherwise, I hope they produce a game that's worth the $60. I'm trying to stay up to date as possible on all the info that's being released lately.

I'm definitely going to buy it if the game is good, I wouldn't pre-order until I'm definitely sure the game is at least decent, I've been screwed over many times before.

I've decided that yes I am going to buy it.I must say, the price could be cheaper, but it's so worth, at least for me. I've been playing civilization since a long time, and i'm not stopping now.

I'm definitely going to get it. I haven't played a Civilization game in over a decade, and the last I played was Civ 3. I want to see what a decade's worth of improvement looks like, and I want to see if the game still kept to its roots even after all this time. I want to see if the game is also still worth playing, as a lot of strategy games nowadays are either too imbalanced, or just plain terrible in general. I want to see what I have been missing the past decade.

Considering how Beyond Earth was a bit of a flop I'm not too keen to preorder the game yet. I'd like to see more concrete evidence and playthroughs of the finished product before deciding.

I am looking forward to the game and hope it will be as great as it looks. And hopefully better than Civ 5, which is my current favorite.
Probably, yes, I am most likely going to buy it. However, I usually take my time with decisions like these, because new games aren't that cheap to be honest. So I just wait for some reviews/gameplay footage/friend's opinions.

Most definitely but I don't know if I will buy it as soon as it is launched. Normally when they launch games they often still have some kinks and there isn't that much to play. Once they start launching their first patches I will buy a copy.

I love pretty much everything they've shown about the game so far. I already have it preordered and I can't wait.

Ever since I saw the early announcement and some choppy screenshots of the new Civ I have been very much looking forward to try it out for myself. I unexpectedly became a huge fan of the Civ series and I have to say I like the way in which this new Civ is headed towards: from the really engaging and vivid graphic improvements to the research and tech optimisations and modifications. I am going to be honest, I am really hyped about this game, and I think I will be picking it up as soon as it is out, for I am longing for a fun strategy game to play. I have overplayed the previous Civ games quite a lot and am currently looking for something new to invest some of my time in and this new one is a great opportunity for me to try my Civ skills on. While I am aware of the fact that at launch Civ VI won't probably have an overwhelming amount of stuff to offer, I would be lying if I said I am not going to buy it as soon as it is out. So far I have no been disappointed with this series and I don't think that this will change in October.
