I do hope that consoles get 3D. I've heard good reviews that 2033 on the PC in 3D was very good, however this was something that us console owners missed out on. I would like 3D to come to consoles to add to the Metro immersion.

Before people say 3D is bad on consoles, it isn't. Batman AC was pretty good.

Spam Metro Video Game on Twitter so that we can get this feature. :D

That sucks! ugh... That is a shame. I never even thought about Metro 2033 on a console, I sort of assumed it was automatic, like 3D Vision bypassing the game and using DirectX to create the stereo images. There are tons of console games i've heard that have 3D. Games like Metro 2033, where they are as much experience as they are "game" really benefit from realistic 3D (not movie 3D). Thats a bummer man.

They probably didn't do it because they would have to lower the resolution so much. But i wonder if they are aware of what a lot of 3D users have corroborated, which is that when your brain puts two lower resolution images together, there is some weird "natural" anti-aliasing that happens. I myself game at 1280x720 due to HDMI limitations, and consider it a far superior experience than gaming in 2D on my 2560x1600 monitor.
