Hey guys, recently I have been looking for some new minecraft mods. I have tried the gun mod, and plasma portal mod. Do you guys know any mods that would be fun to work with? Please post on the comments below. Thank you! :))

The aether mod is pretty cool! But I don't know if it's still up to date. I think that mod was my favorite one for sure though. I had a lot of fun playing it!

I enjoy many of the mods included in the Technic pack, though I prefer to install them separately as having EVERY single mod running slows my computer to a crawl. My favorites are IndustrialCraft and BuildCraft, which make it possible to build way more complex machines. Twilight Forest also adds a bunch of cool items and new places to explore, and it's a lot of fun too.

I would recommend you download the Technic Launcher too... it allows you to choose from a range of incredible mod pack that add a tonne of new features and ways to play.

One of the best things about it is that it's moderated quiet a lot from what I've seen, meaning that the packs are a lot more stable than others out there.

I would recommend Tekkit if you're looking for an enjoyable experience solo or multiplayer. Tekkit adds a whole bunch of mods into Minecraft which adds hours of gameplay with friends, or by yourself.

As other people have said, I would recommend the Technic Launcher. The Attack of the B-Team is a pretty awesome mod pack that includes the Witchery mod which is a ginormous mod which is great if you're playing on a server with more than one person on a server

I've always liked the portal mod. It just feels so cool that you can teleport wherever you want with a gun that spawns portals. Say you're stuck all the way down in a cave that's super far from your home base. Luckily, you left a yellow portal in your house! You can spawn a blue portal and you will teleport back home :)

I'm a fan of big machines, so I would like to suggest 2 mods. They also have not been updated to the latest 1.7 versions so be aware!

ReactorCraft and RotaryCraft. Download links can be found here

ReactorCraft is a mod that adds realistic nuclear reactors, both fission and fusion, to Minecraft. This mod depends on RotaryCraft - it cannot be installed without it.
This is going to be a long wall of post trying to explain how nuclear physics work in Minecraft, so I'll just link you to a video overview of the mod.

One mod I had lots of fun with was Lucky Block. It recently updated to Lucky Block Blue, which added a lot of new stuff! :D
It simply adds one block that gives random results when mined. You never know what you may get!

I'd have to recommend Technic like everyone else. It's really worth some hours of playing, and you won't regret your decision. There are tons of other mods worth checking out, but I doubt I could name them all right here.

Tekkit is the best mod in my opinion, but that's just me. I've heard lots of good things about Aether, also. I'll definitely try that too someday.

Thaumcraft is really cool if you want some magic. It works okay with other mods too if I remember right.
