Crysis 3 and farcry 3

In all honesty far cry 3 will suck.

Well far cry 2, you had to drive 5kms of distance for objectives, then your buddy gives you a side quest, so more 5kms, and then respawning enemies. With all that driving I used to forget my objectives sometimes as well. And I hate the idea of respawning enemies unless they are mutants.

Crysis 2 doesn't render PERFECTLY in 1080p unless you have more than 2gb of vram(i.e. with updates), same is expected of its successor. In all honesty I might just take this from a friend if he forces me to play, but to some extent I might buy far cry 3, but not this.

 

I didn't like Far Cry at E3. But Crysis 3 I am very much looking forward too. Playing Crysis 2 on the PC is like playing a next gen game if you're used to consoles. The DX11 and High Res pack makes the game look absolutely stunning, but it works the graphics card to death.

 

I mean whose idea was it that the player must constantly travel from place to place?

Didn't they ever think it might get repetitive?

 

You are solely basing Far Cry 3 on your Far Cry 2 experience. They are nothing alike. Have you ever played any of the first couple Far Cry games? (Instinct, Predator, etc.) They are absolutely nothing like Far Cry 2. Have you seen any gameplay demos for Far Cry 3? It looks absolutely beautiful and absolutely insane.

And I played the first one, and I liked it.

What I saw in a demo of Far Cry 3 was he was DRIVING towards an objective which was scary enough for me.

Farcry 2 didn't give much motivation in terms of story, though the gameplay was solid and fun. Maybe if your entire family had been massacred (after a short part at the start to get you used to living with them), or something similar, that would have helped. Similar to Skyrim: huge open world, but no motivation to do the story.

^ Just my opinions, I know both have been best-sellers, so a lot of people like them!

 

I've played crysis 1 and 2 (currently replaying 1 actually). Never played any of the farcrys but have seen the trailer for the new game coming out.

Farcry 3 looks like my kind of game, I LIKE exploration in my shooters, I don't like COD rip offs. Immersion is key and this game knows how to do it right! Large environments with dozens of ways to complete encounters (just like crysis 1.)

Crysis 3 looks...eh i dunno. Looks the same as the second, which was good an all but I need somthing new. Looks like they combined the environments from the 1st and second into one game. We now have a jungle in a city hwell:.

 

Definatly getting crysis 3, crysis 2 was epic. but I never played the original crysis though.

 

I'll see but I''l be getting a few other games soon: fifa, ll, halo, maybe gow so I don't know if I'll have any money or time to spare before 3 comes out.
