Death of Dominion

I agree with them since no one really plays it. The only thing I ever used it for is to... well nothing. THe only time I saw it being used was to showcase skins/champs.

 

I liked Dominion, but I understand why Riot got rid of it. It was fun to play with friends, but not really appealing to a wider audience like SR or ARAM. I miss it and think about it occasionally, but I'm not too torn up about it.

 

I'm not really sure why Riot deleted the game mode like @Cloud said. No one did play the dominion game mode though although I played it a couple of times a few years ago. It's just not engaging as ARAM or the normal game mode.

 

Nobody was playing it, so I don't mind them getting rid of it. I played it a few times and didn't really care for it. Most people just messed around in there and wasn't all that fun.

 

In a bit more than 2000 games of League I've played Dominion only 23 times. That's about 1% of my games. Most of my friends have a similar ratio and some even lower. I won't miss Dominion, neither will my friends and i doubt that the community will too.

 

I think it's understandable since no one was using it. Players usually play a lot more frequently in public rather than in private party so I think it's okay since it's just another thing that they can remove that can give them more resources and time to spend on other things.

 

It wasn't actually played, but it wasn't unplayed either. I always used dominion for a quick first-win match, before heading to classic normals. Dominion is a game mode, so why remove it? I don't understand why remove any other modes added either, but that's Riot. If it were by me, all the game modes they made so far would still be here, because I wouldn't waste my work for 3 days of availability per year.
