Hey guys. Don't know if this has been posted somewhere before, but there is an interview with some of the people behind the game. It answers a couple of questions, amongst others about multiplayer and a bit about the "CoD" demo.

    Clicky!

    Enjoy.

The war started because of the trains. Ha ha, love their sense of humour. I like what they said to the guy in the bar, too. Cracks me up. But it sounds very very very awesome!

    Wait, what?

Also, Metro show stand attendees were apparently very happy with the idea of being given a free soviet-made gas mask.

So, is this at Destructoid, or for the limited-ed, or what. Good to hear about the co-op.

Someone instantly asked if you will be able to sell the bulbs you've unscrewed, to which devs joked that this is why the game is called Last Light. Gotta love 'em. :)

    This made my day

    heres the highlights

You'll spend more time on the surface

    Multiplayer is well in development

Nearly all missions have stealth options

Minigun was made out of alarm clocks

There could possibly be a co op mode

There will be a collectors edition and more than likely DLC

    He will revisit previous stations

There Might be a open beta prior to release

Yes it will release 2012, but no telling when

Yes, it is indeed a lot of good news :)

And I hope the gas mask is part of the collectors edition, but I did get the impression that it was at a their stand. But you never know!

By open beta, do they mean a free demo? Sorry, it's probably a dumb question! :p

This sounds very good: There will be a collectors edition of the game and DLCs.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say yes. And if we are lucky, with some sort of a small portion of the multiplayer as well.

My thoughts exactly. I think 4A is going to be a very successful game company, as long as they keep their attitude like this. :)

Agreed :) It sounds like they are actually making games for the people, and not just to earn some money.

Well, if they keep this up, they will make more money. Games like Alan Wake (small developer company Remedy) also aim to make their customers happy, and people love it!

Yeah, of course they will. There is just a lot of companies out there that have no idea what they are doing, destroying sequals because they doesn't listen to the community for instance, and try and make game into something entirely different. Some of them just doesn't understand that making what people want, earns you more money then just spitting out crappy games.

It's a little hard to explain, but there are A LOT of new games out there that has been simplified so even my dead grand mother can pick it up, and start playing without my help. A lot of games being made, just for eye candy, and has no real value/story/gameplay to it.

I know it all depends on what kind of game the developers are making, and what kind of game each person wants, but still.
