Just finished the latest Deus Ex game. I'm news to the series, but it really caught me within the first few minutes, and I didn't play anything else till it was finished. Amazing graphics, great story, and very open gameplay. I loved how any situation could be handled in a variety of ways, and that you didn't have to kill anyone to achieve objectives, (or, inversely, you could kill everyone!)

So, anyone else played this game?

I have played it so many times. i love all the ends that are there. Each one has its ups and downs. Which one did you choose? I remember someone saying I was stupid for liking to just go in guns blazing some times. Guess people never really know the concept of a game. IT'S MENT FOR YOU TO GO STEALTH AND GUNS BLAZING.

I've played this game and i realy enjoyed it it was so fun, i mostly went stealth on and more into non-lethal approach like stunning and that, the story was awesome and the conspiracy was even greater, the new DLC even extended that conspiracy and i think that there will be another Deus ex :D

Yeah, I went stealthy in my first playthrough, and now I'm gunning through it. I love the multiple endings, and the gameplay is perfect. Really nice game.

Just hate that some of the items that you can get are dlc. Those DLC items should have come with the disc from the start. I can't bring myself to pay for the dlc. But I have heard that the story dlc is really cool. But the cheap cover up for loading was going through these gates. Square said no loading times but you can tell the long gate openings were stalling for loading time. Not hard to figure that out. Other than that this game should have gotten a higher score other than 8. I found like no bugs in the game and the market prices were pretty good.

Yeah, I'm not paying $24 for dlc, it's just too expensive, considering I got the entire game for $26...

The DLC is 15 bucks. I think it went down in price a bit I can't remember.

^ Oh, may bad. I'm converting Microsoft (Xbox 360) points back into what I paid for them, so I see how much it actually costs for myself. It might be cheaper in different countries, too.

Deus Ex is an excellent first person stealth game, but falls a little short of Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena & Butcher Bay.

But the glad thing is this was a stealth game, not a brainless shoot'em all title.
You even had the choice to either knock out or terminate hostiles. Knocking them out for higher experience bonuses was challenging.

These games were good, but damn if the enemies had the quickest reactions in the universe. It was so difficult once they spotted you. :)

  12. I abandoned my walkthrough DE3 at the Tai Young Medical skyscraper.

The highest amount of XP is given for silent takedowns and not being spotted (Plus there are Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds achievements). With just three or four separate animations of a takedown, the game became very tedious and boring. I unlocked every single upgrade and upgraded every weapon that I could fit into my inventory by the end of the first third of the game.

I finished it later by sneaking past EVERYTHING. Less XP and less loot, but at least I didn't die from boredom.

Earlier games were better, in my opinion.

I finished Deus Ex Human revolution a long time ago. I got it when it come out. Well at first i was into story and yes, i was terrible in my stealth... well i liked the levels design, thy where very good, but i failed hard to findidng those alternative roads. Best example would be police station where i failed tremendous and had to kill all police station just to get to my objective :D.. The next day i found myself on a newspapper in first page (yay for me ) and intrestingly even knowing that i killed about 100 police officers no one gave a f@ck about it.
I finished Deus Ex in like 2 days... in the end i didnt even care that much about how i play it, i just killed anyone that was in my way... but yeay the longer you play the borring it gets ( that might be because i couldt pass any computer without hacking it, even knowing the password... and some mesaged on them wich i found was.. well quete interesting ;D
