What kind of display is best for gaming you think? Is it a monitor, LED TV, or a projection TV?

I think a nice 30"+ monitor is GREAT for gaming, but even a standard size will do. A big-screen TV CAN be cool, but can also be overkill if not used correctly.

I wonder if it's true that having a smaller display improves the gaming performance. The notion is that we get a smaller field of vision which enables us to react faster. Personally, I'm using a 24" monitor for both gaming and PC and it's been great.

I would avoid TV's the response time is way to slow and if you have a good or decent GPU you will see ghosting depending on how much you are willing to spend I would at least go with a 19 inch LCD with a good response time.

I personally use a 21' and I am very satisfied with it. In my opinion the bigger the better and is more enjoyable.

That is an interesting theory. Kinda like a Jedi knight training where you are blind-folded and have to have to rely on the movement of your surroundings by pure instinct. My grandma still have a small CRT TV, I'll do a myth buster and try playing an action RPG on it to see if this theory is a bust. :D

I personally prefer Led TV in gaming. It has a really sharp picture and doesn't reflect as much as other kind of screens. In addition, Led TVs are quite cheap nowadays in comparison with the size.

I generally got for 20-30 inch monitors since I game on my PC. But if you're doing consoles you can benefit from a bigger screen since consoles are wired to work on bigger screens but for PC you still have to make your GPU can handle high resolution displays.

Monitor, don't ever go to TV screens they're just not right and will consume a lot of unneeded power from your graphics card and the bigger the monitor is, the more trouble it could cause when it comes to performance.

Monitors are better for PC. TVs are better for consoles.

Personally I prefer TV though because you have a much bigger view compared to the computer.

I always thought a projector would look good in front of your friends. It's big and imposing and if you have a good stereo set then you can party. But sadly I own an LED monitor. HAHA. It's pretty great for gaming I like the brightness of it.

As the first user said 30'' is definetly the best one. Good resolution and stuff is a really important thing about gaming to take in consideration.
